Pam Overstreet
Pam's first dog loves were Collies and during the six years of her daughter's 4-H training, Pam was "bitten" by the obedience bug. After losing one collie to cancer in 1989, she gravitated to Shelties and earned multiple obedience and agility titles with them.
She currently has two Shelties. Her youngest boy Jacob, is working and titled in several venues, including receiving multiple HITs (High in Trials). Her oldest girl Kayla is retired from competition, but actively resting on her laurels! Besides competition obedience, Pam has experience and titles in agility, rally, beginning tracking as well as Therapy Dog.
Pam began training with Joan Fetty at Positive Dog Training in 1990 and has been teaching for PDT since 1998.
"In the classroom, I love the light bulb that appears above the heads of the dogs and the handlers when they really "get it." That makes it all worthwhile!"
